This is a new concept I am trying out. I got this idea in another forum. My directory blogger is just about directories. Now you can post your own review of your directory into the blog for free! Easy rules, you can have up to 5 links of only one directory per review. Can be deep links, but the links have to be the same domain. The directory has to be a top level directory (not a sub-domain or added to a domain as a folder). Write up good reviews, as I will of course read them. Not good, deleted. No one or two line reviews on the order of, here is my directory, now go there. All reviewed posts will be on the blog permanently. All you have to do is register at my blog and start posting your directory reviews. Directories only! No other sites allowed to be reviewed. Now go to my blog at: Directory BLogger
Ok cheers iowadawg. I have tried to write a short review on one of my directories and submitted. Thanks for the service, and I hope it gets through.
You are all welcome! Money? In the long run, I will make money with the blog, people who post a good directory (or template) will make money. I just want to help those directory owners who are smart enough to see the value of a nice posting in my pr3 blog. And as more postings come in, they do help me in that with fresh new content daily, the blog will rise in page rank. Now if I can figure out a way to fix it so that when someone posts, it is shown right away and not wait for me to approve, it will speed up the process. Then all I have to do is, heaven forbid, delete those bad postings.
Thanks for the op Dawg, you have a pretty keen sense of smell with this internet thing. So I will submit my review after registering. Thanks in advance if my directory makes it.
Simple way to make sure your directory is accepted in the blog. DON"T WRITE A ONE OR TWO LINE AD! Write a review of your site, an article. What makes your site unique? Write so a visitor will know about your directory and will want to go there. See past reviews of directories to get an idea of how to write yours.
It would also be nice to have an option to edit your own post Please consider the option, so we can keep the post freshly updated if new things happend. Thanks
Hmmm...will keep that one in mind, the ability to edit your own posts. But then, this is free and I don't want to complicate things.
I have never figured out why people build a directory onto another site. Either as a folder or a sub-domain. Just like in the directories forum here, supposed to be a tld directory to advertise it. So I just want tld directories, is that so hard to figure out? Do people just want to be odd and question everything?
I submitted a post. I hope it meets your requirements. This is a great idea by the way. You get a blog full of unique articles updated frequently. Google will love it.
I guess you never asked a question in a thread before. The only reason I asked was because nobody had a problem with it before.
