A quick question: if a site is blocking it's /images/ folder (and all the images are located there) will the site appear to have no images on it at all to the spiders?

No I doubt it. The spiders would still see html image tags throughout your website. They just won't index the individual images.

I have never tried this before but I think vansterdam is right, the individual images will not
    be indexed.

Yeah me too. You just wont see your pictures on google image search. Google has nothing to do with your page. Viewers see your page normally.

Thanks! That's what I thought, just wanted to double check. A site has gone AWOL out of the Yahoo results after their August update, so now I'm trying to come up with *anything* to explain it (it's an authority site with tons of unique content that ranks very well in G and MSN)
