I want to block the top countries from this list of countries:

    http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_sof_pir_rat-crime-software-piracy-rate

What's the best way to do this using .htaccess?

I know I won't be able to prevent access through services like anonymizer, but it's a good start to make life difficult for pirates...

    Thanks!

    Try this site: http://www.ipdeny.com/ipblocks/

It lists the IP ranges for various countries which you can either set up in your .htaccess or configure in a firewall.
