Hey ive been reading on some "blocking ads" threads but never really found how to do find out which urls are the ones paying you low amounts? I realize that if i can block them out n keep only the high paying ones the 6 clicks a day i get might turn into $3/day... instead of the $0.30 cents a day... any advice greatly appreciated I think i just tought of a way im gonna go try it
No simple way to do this. You could use some commercial tracking software to interpolate the shown ads on certain pages and filter them out, but that's as much as anybody can get out of it.
Generally I don't think it's a good idea to block ads unless you have some really poor targeted ads or from competitors or otherwise bad for your site's reputation. In most cases if you just let Adsense work out which ads to place you should get the highest paying. Ofcourse optimize your content too with relevant keywords in the page's title element etc. That's pretty difficult: you can - on a site with not very much traffic - find out quite a bit with channels and keeping an eye on it during the day. You can also get an adwords account and see how much it costs to advertise on a keyword, or use Overtures bidding tool for a rough indication. http://uv.bidtool.overture.com/d/search/tools/bidtool/
