    Hello all,

I would like to know how stop some text ads (468x15) appearing because they contain Adult content even though my site has no adult materail at all. Targeted indeed...

I know about the competitive ad filter that google has but I have no idea how to get the URLs of text ads. How can I find out?

    I appreciate any help :)

I can not believe Google came up with this tool - its a pile of crap.

It does show URLs but it does not show me the URLs that are currently on my web page! It just shows possible ads that may appear on my webpage which will change each time and by country...go track that URL down...you've got to be kidding me!

I will use the Human Search Engine: Does anyone know what the URL of a "468 by 60" banner of gay-parships ads is? I need to get this of my site. I managed to find the URL (gay-parships.com and gay-parships.co.uk) and I put it in the "competitive ad filter" but that still hasn't got rid of it? They must be using something else!

Thank you for anymore help. :)

If you would have read the article in detail it would tell you exactly how to go about finding the URL of a particular ad that IS on your website.

Right click on the ad, copy the url, paste into an editor, the url will be towards the end.

Why didn't you just tell me about the copying the URL rather than downloading crap...

I've had a look at the end of the URL and found advertising.com? Thats a bit risky blocking a whole ad network. Is there is no way to remove a particular ad without removing the whole ad network that serves it?

Google for "ads preview tool". It's a browser extension that will allow you to actually click on the ads without affecting your account just to preview it.

A personal quote by yours truly: Suggest a solution and cut out the philosophical crap. :D

Sorry if I have come across rude in my posts, just had a read through, some comments were quite blunt.

Thank you for your help. :)
