Does blocking ads help to increase revenue with adsense? I mean does using websites like adsenseblacklist.com help?
Some say it does, some say it doesn't. Personally I don't bother with it. Google has their own way of getting ads on your page that will make you most. So as long as you have less space on your page then there are ads for, don't worry. If blocks stay empty - get rid of them. One is often enough. If blocks are only filled with MFA sites, get rid of the block instead of trying to block the MFA sites. New MFA's will just keep appearing.
I tried this once but did not see any drastic improvement (over a period of 3 months) so I decided to come back to the good old fashion way
I tested this out a month at a time, and found my earnings dropped significantly with blocked ads. When you think about it, why block ads in the first place? The point is to get people to click on ads, and when you start to block certain ones, the variety of ads available to be shown drop drastically. Who really cares whether the ads being shown, and that is clicked on, only paid 0.10. With blocked ads, the ad that was shown may not have been clicked at all. In my experience, blocking ads is detrimental to your total earnings.
For me the main thing is that one low paying ad less will just mean less competition for that spot: so the ad that does show there isn't likely to get you more.
For me, filtering doesn't do anything. After I filter the sites, more MFA sites replace the filtered ones. I decided to just remove all the filtered sites and I noticed that my earnings actually went up.
Blocking MFA (Made for Adsense) sites really help because these sites are paying us too less. They only want higher return on penny investment through Adwords. Think guys, I have suggested very important point here now give me positive REPUTATION. Thanks, Manish
