hi guys i have blogger blog which is rank very well but now 10 to 12days i saw my traffic is going down day by day without any reason i did not change anything even my backlinks is very strong and high quality so i visit webmaster tools and i saw 97 urls black by robots.txt you can check it here is that is reason down my traffic ? because i have total 108 post in my blog before my ranking is very well my traffic going down from 19 aug 2013 till now my traffic is going down and down if that is prob how i can solve this issue or remove these url from robots.txt file thanks
Well, my robots file is fine - " User-agent: Mediapartners-Google Disallow: User-agent: * Disallow: /search Allow: / Sitemap: *************** " Only site search is disallowed, this prevents duplicates (allowing this might get him penalized by Google, again LOL). So it's not the robots file. Google just decides to **ck us every now and again, it happened to me at the end of May, and after about a month the penalty was lifted although there were no drastic changes in my site. So I hope that It will be lifted again, at the beginning of October.
i remove it now my robots.txt file look like this User-agent: Mediapartners-Google Disallow: User-agent: * Allow: / Sitemap: xxxxxxxxxxx you think it is ok and allow google to follow everything ?
Only 1 thing changed, now you don't disallow your site search, this line was there to prevent duplicate pages, google don't like this and usually penalizes... But, Google has already penalized you, so I say the hell with em! Please update us in the coming weeks if there is any change.
When you recover from this penalty Please must update this thread and your work experience. I am also facing this problem from 29th august for my website. My traffic has gone down and keyword also.
