Blocked contents on Facebook

I didn't find any posts regarding blocked content on facebook, so I thought I will share a strange issue I came across.

Recently I have created and set up fan pages for 3 sites, but later on I've found out that the site's urls and only those are blocked content on facebook.

This is quite interesting for several reasons:

    1. we didn't try to promote the websites in any way on facebook before.
    2. only 2 of the 3 websites' urls are blocked content, the other one is doing quite ok.
    3. only the sites url's are blocked content, the pages are ok. In the matter of fact, only if I search like "www.xyz.com" I get the blocked content warning message, if I only type xyz.com it will automatically suggest the fanpages.

What happened? Did the competition try to discredit us, is that possible? Or Facebook mistakenly sees the sites for something they are not?

I have been trying to find out how can you unblock a content on facebook, but the usual channels failed: I mean under this the forms on facebook you have to fill in to report a mistake. What can you do, where can you go?

We are not spammers, nor scammers. The sites are trusted, and up and running for several years now with more than 50k unique visitors a day, and being in the top3 in google for their kws.

I would really appreciate some advice! Thanks in advance.

The privacy controls on FB are worse to understand than any other social media site, sure it is great to have a large number of users following you but if you accidently press the wrong button then you can have the wrong people looking at the things that you kept private and the right people blocked with any access to the page they were supposed to see.
