Blockbuster and landing page

My first post here, but have been lurking and learning for a looooong time. I've learned so much here, I can't even begin to thank all the ones whose posts I've devoured....

    Now on to my question.

I've been trying to promote the Blockbuster free trial offer. While I'm getting about 5% CTR from my landing page - I've not been able to convert a single one...

The number of visitors are still statistically insignificant, but not getting a single conversion from about 100 clickthroughs is mildly bothering.

I'm bidding on a small set of about 1000 keywords like "online dvd rental" etc. the idea was to test the waters before expanding the keywords to more esoteric ones.

Any experienced pointers? Am I worrying too early? Is The Blckbuster offer running out of steam?

    Thanks.

50+% is what you should be looking for.

Reach higher. I am averaging 70 or more clickthrough depending on the days.. I couldn't afford to lose out of 50 percent of my customers.

Pause your campaigns and get your landing page redesigned ASAP.

It's still pretty early to give up. 100 clicks is not much to go on. What's the traffic source, 2nd tier? Perhaps it's junk traffic. I agree you landing page needs help as well.

sounds like coupon codes that users might be using don't get credited either...

Thanks everyone for the pointers. I HAVE paused my campaign and creating multiple landing pages to test.

All my traffic so far have been via PPC on about a 1000 short-tail keywords:)

I know 100 or so clicks is too few to draw any conclusions...so I'll keep at it.

Anyone wants to share ballpark CTR from PPC on their Blockbuster campaigns to help me benchmark my progress?

    Thanks a bunch again...
