I am in need of a script (.vbs) or software program that runs on my desktop that can search through any type of text file and find the first tag or marker I define to it and then find the second tag or marker I define and do a delete of any and all characters it finds between the two tags (markers). I also need to do this on a large scale such as 5000 files at a time. I have used dreamweaver and tested several other types of shareware applications, purchased a few of them but none work that way, they usually require me to define the block of text and do a find/replace. I want to be able to just tell it to find anything (matching or not) between these 2 points and remove all of it. Any help would be much appreciated!
