It would be nice to have the ability to block .info sites in my competitive ad filter. With a pretty good probability (maybe 90%) they are all MFA. I don't think the filter takes wildcards or does it?
Sorry man. You are probably with in the 10% or in a totally different niche. In my Niche, no respectable company uses .info. I was just looking through some of my ads and ALL the MFA sites I found today were .info and vice versa. For me, the benefit of automatically blocking 90% of all spam outweighs the loss of 10% regular customers.
I've noticed the .info being high up in MFAs...and unfortunately, one of my sites is a .info (not my main one, though)
I didn't say that. I said: 90% of the sites that have Adsense on MY site AND are .info are spammy MFA (click arbitrage to be precise). I never said 90% of all .info are crap. Are you even using Adwords to drive traffic to your .info domain? So again: The .INFO showing on MY SITE are 90% crap. Please stop the discussion, I wanted to know if I can block a certain TLD and thats how I should have asked without calling out .info. Sounds better?
