Block Google SideWiki

Google has just introduced a new feature called Google SideWiki, which seems to have made some people in Nigeria, as well as people selling penis pills, very happy.

Has anyone come up with a solid way of blocking these SideWiki comments? I've searched the web and found nothing that works without completely blocking access to the website.

BTW, not surprisingly, you need to search for "block SideWiki" using Bing or any other non-Google search engine to find people working on blocking SideWiki.

I saw that - it modifies your website by messing with the URLs. Doesn't block spammers, who have JavaScript disabled. Nobody likes that solution

This landed in my Firefox a couple of days ago and I took an instant dislike to it.
A swift right click was enough to disable the horrible thing.
Google are becoming a right bunch of pervy bastards. They want a piece of everything!

My cousin runs a website for a children's charity. It's sideWiki is filled with spam for V, mortgage brokers, etc.

    SideWiki SUCKS!!!

The only surefire way I've just discovered is if the webpage is in SSL, SideWiki is disabled. That's nice, but if you have Google Ads, Google ads are NOT SSL and so the user may see lots of browser alerts about displaying mixed content.
