Block EVONY ad?

I want to filter this ad!

these ads are all over the place,

should we block them ?

 

Just go to any game blog or game forum with adsense, sure you can see this ads, click on it and you will know the URL

 

yeah i too have seeen it few days back

 

don't click on the ad - just rightclick on it and grab the url and add that url to the adsense competetive ad filter...

 

Evony is using a large list of URLs and you have to block them all.

Mr.Bill posted a complete list of them at Using filtering in admin panel.

 

use the adsense preview tool to get the urls... 'Jackie W' that doesn't work as it will be a unique google ad url...

 

you'll be able to see the url in the long google url, i do it all the time

 

Be careful about blocking for any reason other than competitive ad filtering - Evil Google frowns on it. It will not be an issue by itself, but if you ever get Evil Google employee human eyes on your account, having random ad filters in place will count against you IMO

 

biggiest problem i have is irrelevant ads being served to http://www.guide2prince.org I filter out all the ones for "PRINCE2" training or "Prince Tennis Rackets" as they don't match my niche...

Evil Google also frowns upon posting about Adsense at random forums, get your act straight otherwise there is not guarantee, you might get banned

what is evony?

 

It is a game set in midevil times. But it isn't the game most people don't like it is the ads. For some reason Evony ads are all over the net and many people don't like that.
