Blizzard just announced Starcraft 2 today In Seoul south korea, a country were starcraft 1 achieved the status of a spectator sport, unlike previous rumours its not going to be a mmog like world of warcraft but a Real time strategy game like the original starcraft. so far the information available indicates it has its own physics engine, and it capable of showing at least 100 diferent units on screen, as soon as I can find a screenshot that fits the forum I'm gonna post it in this thread blizzard is yet to release a release date. you can get more info, videos and screenshots at blizzard.com (finally I have a reason to ditch my p3 933mhz and get myself a new machine.... )
sure, get a new pc, there are too many threads already discussing this! after all i have got a new hdd and an additional 512 mb of ram, so am prepared for the release perhaps!
its not competing against WoW its a diferent kind of game , the same kind as the original starcraft, its not world of starcraft its starcraft 2
yeah but they're completly different styles of games, not much overlapping demographic, (as you can see from people who like me post that they'll consider gaming again just for this ) (yeah were getting old I think I'm gonna look for my starcraft cd now and get a game on battle.net (is it still around? )
