Blending photo edges

Hi, I have 3 photos that I need to blend together to make a header, the photo need to fade, to remove the obvious edges, I have appled a gradiant (black and white)to fade these and while it works it drains a lot of the colour from the photos.

    Anyone know a better way?

The photos are sitting on a gradient background

    Thanks in advance

    Dee

PS This is the header per the clients exact requests, you can see the problem

You can remove the existing background (sky), blend the photos and put a new (fake) sky beneath. This should look more natural than blending different sky photos.

    Thanks, sounds fiddly ;)

If anyone is interested in doing this please PM me with price, turnaround time and if I can see the results first, don't want to end up paying for something that doesn't look right.

Hi, thanks for the link :)

However I have tried that method and whilst it faded the end of the first pic it didn't work on the others you could still see the join
