Is it possible to make the Google ads transparent, so that it blends to my website template?
I am not able to match the exact color and hence the ad looks weird.
Are there any tools, where we can pick the color from any location on our website?

You can't make it transparent but you can change the color of the ad .. You can put the color code of your web page in the adsense setup and it will create the matching ad...

If you are having a gradient I don't know how to do but if you are having a plain color you can get the code with a software called Pixie. It is a very small but useful software. All you have to do is put your cursor over your page and it will show you the HTML code of the page..You can download it from http://www.nattyware.com/pixie.html. Its a freeware....Hope it helps:p

You can match the hex code of your site with that of the ads when you create them.

If you site background is a gradient a little design tip if to create a div with the adverts in with a 'floating' style border (ie a bottom and right border to it looks like a shadow). That way it doesn't cut into your gradient style design.

I dont believe you can do a gradient but 100% blending isnt always the best for high ctr, definently give http://adclustr.com a read.
