Blending ads with a site

Does anyone know if it's possible to have an add with a transparrent background and border? I tried leaving the border and background blank, but it didn't like that. I have a new site that has a picture background and the ads just won't look right on it with a background... I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the url here so I'll leave it.

Is there any way to do it

    Thanks for your help

You can't make it transparent like a transparent .gif if that's what you mean, but you can make it a solid colour (for example, if you have a white background, you could have a white background on adsense and a white border, and it would blend well).

Yep. Make your background a solid colour, and match the background and border of the Google ad to it.

Backgrounds on websites are soooo 1990's.........and take that midi file off too !!

I need the background in that section because it's my main image for the page (it's not like a texture or something). I can just put it on the side, but for the directory I'd like it in the main section.

I've seen other posts in this section with links so here goes: www.holisticwellness.co.za

You want to put the ad on your header background?

Just stick it on there. :)

It is not possible to do what you want, so you are going to have to figure out another way to get the ads into your site.

They aren't providing it cos it'd wreck the ads, there visibility and cause a whole array of problems!

Image ads would have a tremendous problem with what you want. IMO.
