I would also add that when I search I don't always to get there within one click. I don't mind landing on a page and navigating through their site or their ads. If I don't use the back button, they have provided some value.
when a site has good content, I don't mind clicking his google adsense ads. I don't lose any money anyway. he spent the affort to give me good content, my only way to say thank you is to click his Ads. Most people that want to earn adsense money online are selfish. They want people to click their own Adsense ads but they will never click other's Adsense ads.
As a visitor clicking ads is like clicking an inside link from a site, cause most ads or even all ads is revelant to the site content, I mean adsense/adwords. So the visitor is still on thier way on finding information they want. No trick at all.
no. if the ads doesnt blend well with the rest of your site then the ads would look out of place which equals to bad design overall.
I agree. It's no different than placing blending and content related banner ads, text links, etc... If my websites colors are purple and orange, then I'm going to use purple and orange adsense ads to compliment my site. I wouldn't use red and black adsense ads so as to blatently give my visitors an eye sore. Internet users know that they are being advertised to. Adsense is suppose to put relevant ads on your website so that if a visitor clicks on the links that he/she might find something related. I know I have done this myself, haven't you? I don't think you can "trick" anyone into clicking on anything. Just my opinion.
I think blending is ART and is not deceiving anyone. In my opinion, the user clicked the ads is very the contem was very attrative or attracted the clicker
I can't see any difference in the placement of blended ads to contextual links in articles. It's all about drawing the reader to do something with what they are seeing on your blog or site. Otherwise, what is the point of having a web site or blog? My two cents. Col
