Blend in 'www.advertiser-url.com' .. against TOS?

Hi guys. I was experimenting with blending in google ads on my site. If you go to my site, I think I have done a pretty good job of blending in the ads.

    Example: My Blog

EDIT: Not using leaderboard anymore; changed it to a half banner. Will see how that works out for a few days. Thanks

If you notice in the leaderboard, the url are showing up as 'bright green'. I was thinking of making them 'white' so that they are invisible. Do you think this is ok? Has anyone done this in the past? Would google be mad.. I dont think I am doing anything illegal; I am just trying to hide the 'url' of the ad.

    What do you guys think?

I think danzor meant that changing the url color to white so they are invisible, would be agaisnt the TOS.

Colors look good as is IMO. They blend in, but still catch the eye enough to hope for a click, nice work.

Oh ! Sorry , I miss that point
Yes , It's violate the TOS , You must show the URL , exept you're using leaderboard or somethings (I forgot it , maybe banner) URL will not displayed

Just confirming for the record that the banner size 468x60 does not display the url, just like BNix mentioned.

I guess It was too good to be true. Although, i dont know why it would violate the TOS. I mean hiding the url is good for google becaues if you dont hide it; some people might be tempted to just type in the 'url'. That way google will not get any money. What do you guys think about that?

Interesting idea about using two half page banners.. I will try that and see how it goes.

they have to show url and 'ads by google' because they want only interested people to click on ads.

Their adwords customers will not happy if people click by mistake!

The AdSense code will not allow you to make the URL and background color the same - if your background is white, and you select white as the URL color, the code automatically changes the URL color to black. Studies have shown that you'll achieve the best CTR with having your URL color either matching the color of the text, or having your URL color a light grey (hex 999999).

Google's main source of revenue is Adwords not Adsense
and It's good for Adwords advertiser to not pay more.
But I think like you , visitors can type the url and G will lose a little revenue
Why visitors will do that ? , Just a click and type whole URL. If i'm visitor i 'll click it
(Today when i see interesting ads on my site , I must type a URL on address bar)

    Thanks Seriph and Tonyinabox.
