This will make other people who are looking for a good auction site more likely to join and list. Everything on the site is free at the moment - to list, bid, buy, etc.. I am not sure taking on ebay is a smart thing to do but the best thing you can do is try marketing the site everywhere you can. Alternatively put some really cool items on the site and get people to come and look at the items rather than the site.
gbuy is coming.. sell your site to someone else and cut your losses... The market is getting thick. Just my two cents.
