Blank screen in WP Admin

    Hi, I upgraded my blog after getting hacked (my own fault - I hadn't upgraded in ages). I must have done something wrong with the upgrade as now the admin area is no accessible - just a blank screen after login. Although the actual blog seems to work ok. Also the CSS is not loading for the admin login area.

    Can anyone advise me or better still fix it? I'll pay! :)

    If anyone has advice or wants to do it for me please post it here (with a price if you are able to fix it)

    delete plugins and check
    repair databases

    Do you have WP-Cache enabled? Sometimes deleting the files in this folder can help out.. Try checking wp-content/cache ;)

    If thats not it, you could try deleting the wp-admin folder and re-uploading it, this might work as well!

    Ok, I just renamed the plugins and a strange thing happened!

    I got this when I tried to edit anything (from the public site):

    Fatal error: Class walker_category_checklist: Cannot inherit from undefined class walker in /home/hardyeng/public_html/blog/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 163

    I renamed it back and it's back to a blank screen again.

    Did you tried to edit the footer?
    Some are encrypted to protect the designer's copyright and if you did you will need to upload back the theme for your site for the footer part.

    Have you tried to clear your own browsers cache? This happened to me few times, try clearing you browsers cache :)
