    I went to adsblacklist.com

I entered my site and it loaded keywords and I searched.

It gave me these list to blacklist

    urlchief.com
    mykindaplace.com
    acne.com
    dateentrypro.com
    blogspot.com
    egadis.com

Now I see blogspot in it.

It is owned my google right? or affiliated with. Now I find it pretty weird because if google notices I blocked its own affiliated site, they ban me?

I have seen a few blogspot ads on my site but how do I know which ads give less or higher pay?

I have even got .01 and .40 per clicks.

I saw this addiction.help.best8sites.com shown as one of ads at my website. It looks like best8sites.com is blacklisted........ woah, now adsblacklist didnt generate that site.

Do we also have to manually check all these?

Also, what about these type of sites that have a www.domain.com/**** . ...which link to a folder inside? Are they low paying too ?
    Like example i saw this : - www.smettere.com/eng ?

I am new to adsense, so please help me and ignore if you find me annoying :p

From what I've seen there are MFAs using this and there are sites that just want to know where the clicks were coming from so they can track which campaign is doing well and which ones are not..best bet would be to look at the sites and manually block them to be more precise.

i have a content rich website running on a URL like this....and i would liek to know as well wether it effects adsense in anyway....im planning to buy a domain for just 0.99$ for this site. IMO sites which are sub-folders of a parent site dont get much traffic.

The URL can be a big factor when it comes to which ads pop up. If you have say a site that is http://somesite.com/marketing/internet-marketing/27365437494.php The ads will be internet marketing ads 90% of the time. And even if the content is not related, these ads will show up for a undefined period of time anyway. Sub-domains work in a similar way but dont seem to be as targeted in my experience, others may have had some luck.

Overall, you are best of with your own domains for sure, you will have more room to create streams of income with a larger portfolio of domains and sites for sure. Like mom always said, "If youre going to do it, do it right."

The URL has SOME weight with what ads pop up.

I had a fairly new site and I was getting ads that were based on the URL rather than the content of the page. What I did was to check the content of the page and make sure the appropriate keyworkds were present and weighted accordingly. It made no difference until I put additional text on the page.

I had around 250 words, and the ads were about 60/40 in favour of the domain name, but with an additional 150 words, I was able to swing that back around to 90/10 in favour of the content.

If the URL is a factor of what ads show, then by my experience, as shown, you simply do not have enough content on your page.

Adsblacklist also generated yahoo.com to filter it.

I hope filtering these sites should not get me banned?
