Hi i was wondering if any one could tell me if the following website is employing blackhat seo tecniques, it seems to have bypassed the sandbox ussually applied by google.

    http://www.freebetsuk.org/

-the website domain was reg on 16 sept
-it ranks in googles top 10 for free bets uk
    -its built using java script

Its tom@totalodds site hes a member here go and ask him. And the keyword "Free Bets UK" isn't competitive, I don't think hes using blackhat to be honest.

Although it's not especially competitive it isn't that easy to rank on the first page in a week either.

Care to share your methods Tom?

I would stay away from black hat stuff if I were you. Content is king, get 100 articles written and put on authority websites linking back to your website. Post on forums talking about your niche, links will build if you are providing value.

Im going to slightly disagree, I got my blog on page one within about 7/8days and I did nothing more than forums sigs, fresh content and picked local keywords to my local towns and used big keywords mixed in !

I do not thing its by any black hat... this is normal for new site.. ranks will be varying for the new site.. some time may get in first page but after some days will vanish from SERP...

There is no such thing as "the sandbox" for ranking in Google.

If you don't rank a new page or site in 7 days, you have shit for links.

    simple as that.

If a site is employing blackhat techniques then it will be sooner or later be banned from Google.

It depends on how easily it can cover its tracks.
