Blackhat Experimenting - is it safe doing on a new TLD

i want to do some black hat testing and got me a new domain for testing purposes.

    I use shared hosting.

My question is if i do testing on my new testing*.info domain..can this somehow affect my other domains hosted on the same ISP/server? Because i have WH sites on the same server and they all have the same IP.

I wouldn't try it. I'd even hide my domain registration info too! Definatly host it somewhere else! It would kinda be like trying to reform a crack whore. I wouldn't bring her to my home and around my family, I'd try to do it somewhere else, and remain anonymos in case it failed, because my freind, if it fails, it will fail big time. What kind on b/hating you going to try if you dont mind me asking? I do take some intrest in gray hat! But, what I call gray, others will call black.

you know "rss exploiter" ??? playing with rss scrapers. Will take what you say into consideration.
Staying anonymous is indeed a problem if you eg. use this for aff marketing (as i want to do)..this means sooner or later your affiliate ID is always being shown.

Never thought of an affiliate id as a spammer/blackhatter id, but it does make sense. I've read some things about scripts that convert RSS to comments/posts in Wordpress (I'm not real familiar with WPress) and considered learning more on that. I'm fluent in PHP and have tinkered with RSS in the past. You could probably get away with more than 1 affiliate account. Don't want to say too much here in the forums. (As I peek over my shoulder)... ;-)

You don't have to really worry about working off the same IP. IP bans DO exist, but normally on servers that are 100% blackhat. Which is why shared hosting is a good idea.
DO NOT interlink the sites though.
1and1 sucks in general, but they have cheap ass domains, and free WHOIS protection. I'd head there for whois related issues.

Get a domain with who is protection and use some free hosting & I think u can get started on with the experimentation.

Beware : Do not link any of your white hat sites from Black hat sites ;)

I've also heard you should use the same registrar either, even if you use whois protection there is still the chance that it can be used to find your other sites. 2cents

They are absolutely KNOWN for their shoddy hosting, and making it terribly difficult to even cancel a plan already in effect.
1)Google doesn't care about other sites. They ban the site, not the person.
2)Google can't unmask whois protection. They ARE a registrar, but even a registrar can't do this.

This doesn't matter. These people are all paranoid over nothing.

I BH all the time here are the main rules.

    1) DO NOT link your White Hat Site to the black hat site, linking FROM the black hat site to the white hat site is FINE.

    2) Feel free to use shared hosting, there is no way google is going to ban all the domains on a shared hosting account that probably has 500 other domains on it.

    3) Who cares about domain whois protection, if you are truly RSS scraping or scraping content from ezinearticles.com you might get a few calls from pissed off webmasters, just remove the scraped content and move on.

    4) I don't know of an affiliate that will ban you for black hat techniques UNLESS you are breaking the law such as using XSS or exploiting applications for link injection, if BTW you are doing this discount everything I said because you are going to go to JAIL. So make sure you are NOT breaking the law, there are techniques that can get you locked up..

    Hope that helps.

well the technique in question is scraping RSS sites and getting the content and using the feeds as pseudo-content with your url/afflinks as anchor - in a nutshell.

Or..variation..creating some pseudo/fake nonsense content surrounding a keyword...again your URL as anchor...and submit that fake content to all those pingers out there

Since everyone and their moma uses RSS to get "new" content i dont even consider this real BH....and for sure i would be VERY surprised to have to go to jail for this :)
