I know its been mentioned before but now its hit the mainstream media: http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30100-1278960,00.html http://www.blackgoogle.co.uk/
White on black is way harder to read, stresses my eyes quite a bit... I'm not a good energy-saver anyway, always forget to turn off the light in the bathroom
Ya this is old news. And I don't know how long blackgoogle.co.uk is going to last when it has a clear trademark infringement in it's URL. It's a great idea but it too hurts my eyes so I don't use it. Skinny
People love to use google's name and hype the scene. Why cant these people just start a non-profit website rather than using a custom google search engine with some crap idea to make money rather than spreading the awareness of black google and its energy saving potential. funny thing is, news sites such as Sky news cover such pathetic stories. anyone here on this DP can build such site in less than 30 mins with google custom search engine. lol
interesting. kind of like when espn switched to css and cut down bandwidth usage by like 30% and saved millions.
