Blackboard Mystery

    Why is a blackboard color green when the name itself says that it is a blackboard?:confused:

    The original blackboards were black.
    Haven't you ever seen a black blackboard?
    I've seen them many times. Especially in old buildings/schools.

    the blackboards in my school are black...

    i go to an art school in a 100 year old building so i assure you they are old and the originals...
