Some black hat SEO says - they are able to get traffic exponentially for new site. If site is created on day1 than they start getting traffic from day2. And the traffic increases in raised to the powers of previous day traffic.

Can we discuss here black hat seo techniques, just for being aware of them.

Stop listening to what everyone is saying and get some research done for yourself. It seems that all were you get your information from.

Well... One of my least favourite black hat things is comment spam. I mean, come on! Seriously, how can there be any ROI on it. :(

Well comment spam is pretty pathetic blackhat techniques...

Blackhat techniques are making people millions. I doubt you will see much real discussion or revealing of what is exactly going on.

ya see... again... most of the cutting edge black hat techniques are not about spamming and crap. Its more about cloaking, redirecting, hijacking and other stuff that actually works... and i dont mean kind of works... I mean like people are knocking out HUGE sites and replacing them with there own in the google index.

spamming, keyword stuffing.. please give me a break.

What Shoemoney said is right, it comes down to redirects and cloaking.

If you really know what you're doing, you can cloak a site so it appears perfectly optimized to the se's, but it shows a completely different picture to the organic traffic. It's surprisingly easy to get away with too lol.

Yes there is money in blackhat, but there's also tremendous risk. One day google is going to find a way to break through cloaks, and when that happens you'll probably see 25% of the pages indexed be banned.

It's fun to play around with if you're just looking to experiment, but if you are trying to build an actual site good luck. Go white hat and get it legitimately like the rest of us :)

I understand it can be easy to get away with for limited time, but not for long. If Google actually takes reports seriously, which I don't know first hand, in competitive serps other webmasters will easily notice the difference checking the cache and the actual site.

Of course some serps are so populated with cloaking that nobody is going to send reports, unless those in lower positions decide to.

So after being removed by the SEs they need a brand new website.

Not an easy life for small webmasters.

I have always thought that blog spamming is the most powerful black hat technique by far.

Cloaking , if they site wasn't cloaked it would rank the same and get the same traffic , so what is the point?

    Ferret,

Just a guess, but if the SEs can't see your actual page and instead see some imaginary, squeaky-clean site, then you'd be free to do whatever kind of ethically-challenged shennanigans you wish to your actual visitors. Not to mention being able to, for instance, break the adsense TOS with big arrows and "Click-me!" requests.

But I dont do BH, so again, I'm just guessing.

well the whole point oif cloaking is showing the SEs the spammy version and the people the clean one, so you are sort of off base

When you do cloaking correctly, it is almost impossible to detect. And there are multiple levels of cloaking ... geo-based, IP based, referrer based ... and the best is when you combine them all. The best cloaks are the one's you can't detect even when trying to look at the google cached page.

I thought that guy who did that thing with adsense page used some type of redirect, I wasn't aware he was cloaking anything

I just mention the blog spammers because I see them all the time in the serps
