Just my 1 cent comment, but I don't see how Adult industry could succeed without BH.

Yes, It's your point of view, everyone has a point of view in here, I have my own, you have, and others have, but for majority of the SEOs says it is unethical, you are cheating the SE's.

but surely ALL SEO is cheating the search engines in some way? you are trying to artificially manipulate the search results.

Hmmm, SEO does not cheat the search engines. If you look at the white hat SEO techniques, they are logical steps taken to ensure that your page is presented in a clear and concise manner that will not confuse anyone.

It is just like writing an essay. You want to have a good title, introduction, clear headings and an awesome conclusion. If you get a whole big mess and write incoherently, chances are you will do badly in the paper.

Same goes for SEO. You need to pay attention to presentation.

 

I don't say that SEO cheat SEs, only the black hat ones. The stuff keywords in order to be on top of SERP position. You cloak or use a doorway page in order to increase your site's traffic/hits.

 

maybe cheating is too harsh a word. but all good SEO is certainly aimed at 'gaming' the search engines to get as high up the rankings as possible.

 

I do black hat on other sites and I know the outputs of being a blackhat SEO, we are talking about Black hat methods only, not all SEOs. Please stick in to the topic.
