Black Friday Shopping, Anybody go?

I thought about heading over to Best Buy for a nice 512MB video card they had but I decided I didn't want to wait all night in the cold. :)

People around here lined up as early as midnight.

Anybody go shopping today? If so, did you get what you wanted?

I wish I could have gone. They have a decent computer going for less than $200 at Best Buy.

We go out every Black Friday. We went out this morning at 5:00am and were finished at 12:00 noon.

We shop off of the flyers, so we save 50%-75% off of our entire Christmas each year.

No way I turn down that kind of savings.

The trick is to plan out exactly where you're going and in what order, and what you're purchasing. If you go to the stores to browse .... good luck.

My g/f lives in Canada...Her and two other ladies have been coming to U.S.(Bellingham Wa.) to shop after Thanksgiving for years.
She say it is the worst ever this year. They start at 4 and are usually 10-20th in line.
This year at least 500 people ahead of them at Target and Kolhs.
    Not my cup o tea....lol

No Black Monday here in Canada, but I saw the clips on the new, people go nuts for sale pricing! Fist fights at a Best Buy, etc. It's ridiculous.

For people who are a little more sane though, I imagine it's a fun shopping day :)
