Traded egold with bkpro yesterday, everything went fine then a few hours later the funds went on hold and paypal are looking into it. He/she wont speak on yahoo for over 24hours now so i assume its a scam

I assume he has issued a chargeback so dont trade with this member.

I emailed paypal about this so im waiting to hear from them (i mentioned it was to do with egold), although i didnt know it was against the rules so what are the chances of my account being terminated.

just to add some of his information,

    yahoo account - 03301991
    paypal account -

    cheers

That's pretty common. You should have waited a bit longer for a response before creating this thread.

Its common to be ignored and left with no explanation? hes been on dp and yahoo and still ignored my questions, and its funny how he got scammed a few days ago so obviously he saw how tempting it was.

If im wrong - and i hope i am i will apologise, but until its clear i smell something fishy

    Yes.
I was referring to the PP ordeal though.

You smell it but do you see it? No. You're just assuming.

Well i often give people the benefit of the doubt, but this time i dont see why he would ignore me, if he is busy surly its not hard to send a im back or a pm saying so?

Paypal are reviewing it but until their decision has come back i cant do anything.

Ill be sure to come back and give the final outcome along with an apology if its needed.

not replying to somebody while being online is enough to see a person scamming.. isnt it?

No. Maybe he didn't receive the message, maybe he has no idea what's going on so he's lost for words, etc. Could be a cornucopia of things. He should have been more patient before creating a thread like this.

Well i should of thought 24 hours would be sufficient for them to at least acknoledge me, hes been online on yahoo a few times and i have emailed and pm'd. I dont see how he couldnt of got the messages as i tried numerous methods.

I just stated in my first thread that i havent had contact with him so it appears to be a scam, if i waited a week how many more people could he potentially do the same to?

Take post 2 for example he was about to trade with him, so bkpro must of been online trying to trade with more people since he traded with me so if it does turn out to be a chargeback i will of saved that person from falling for the same mistake i did.

I always say when doing transactions, quick and concise communication is a requirement till transaction is complete. Anything else you can the person who doesn't is a scammer.

99% of the times, the one who is the scammer...is quick to trade then disappears off IM after that. In this case I would agree that BKPRO is a scammer.

Thats the thing i dont get, surly if he was a scam he would just block and delete me off yahoo? But when i rang paypal they said it appears to be paid via an unauthorised payment so i assume they have issued a chargeback.

I guess there is nothing to do apart from wait until paypal makes their decision. I just wanted to let people know because if i was you guys ide wait until the outcome before you trade or deal with bkpro, thats all im saying.

    I disagree.
Things like making a deal, and then just ignoring the trader for 24 hours, could really take the piss on alot of people, me included.
I know if i had to trade with someone, i'd let him know what's going on and make sure he doesn't feel like he's being ignored, and if this is the opposite, i'd like to get the same treatment. If there is something wrong in the process, keeping the trader updated is a must.

Thats the other problem, i didnt know it was against TOS and when they asked for more information i mentioned is was to do with egold :( so im expecting the worse.

One thing though when i rang them up the women said there doesnt seem to be any limits on my account and shouldn't see why i would get banned, but then again she didnt really know what egold was all about.
