Hi Folks, Well ,might be an silly question to put on but let me clear my doubt from experts Well,I have a credit cart niche site and ranking pity well in Google For High Traffic terms .Now i am planning to Launch a similar niche website with same keyword but problem is that as i have all top label domains(.com,.org,.net and .info ) has been registered already, .biz is still available and as it is an alternative for business related website so i can resister that but would it affect my SERP , i mean to say does google prefer top label domain first for indexing in search results or i may also get rank well for .biz domain name ?
What I've noticed is that .com will always rank ahead of .biz domains, at least for some of the top keywords for certain niches. However there isn't a straight forwards answer to this question because I have seen .info domains ranking pretty well for gold-mine keywords. Al.
Working with .biz is no problem. Google doesn't favor one or another TLD. Though there is another issue here. Since all other domains are already registered, you won't create a strong brand name for your website. That is, a returning visitor is more likely to type .com instead of .biz which will be forgotten within 3 minutes after a browser tab with site has been closed. .com TLD is more trustworthy in the eyes of your potential customers too.
