i know that biz domains are not preferred by domain traders. i have one domain with a nice keyword and generic too. But its a new registered domain. Sedo suggested me between 2000-2999 USD for it. How much should i request for this? Domain is:
    particle.biz

Estibot says $620. Actually it is hard to appraise as you told in your post too, Biz domains are not really favorite of people. It depends on how you market it or how you develop it, its traffic, backlinks etc. I couldn't see an industry to be able to sell this domain (endusers) to but I wouldn't go astronomical numbers if I had an offer. Good luck.

$0. Besides being a .biz, how would you monetize "particle"?

I think that has no value at all as a domain. Reg Fee . But try to create a comunity behind it and then sell it :)

Being aware of what a particle is, I think you're going to struggle to find a user. Particle.edu maybe :D

That in mind, Reg Fee - $20 tops

    Best of luck!

That's what I also assumed. So my question still is, how would you monetize the word "particle"?

If you get on Google and search "particle", you come up with only 1 sponsored listing. And that listing is a marketing firm with the word "particle" in its company name.

did you checked what adwords's KeywordToolExternal page says about "particle".
can't this page have any importance for appraisal? Keyword has 1.830.000 search in google adwords.
Also how can i sell that for regfee while all extensions have been purchased already
and too many un-monetizable similar domains have been sold in sedo for xxxx's.

I did. But instead of using the "Broad" setting, I used the "Exact" setting.

I came up with 27,100 worldwide searches for "particle".

Now figure that approximately 10% - 15% of all searchers for the word "particle" will search via direct navigation. That means that almost all of these direct navigation searchers will go to the .com version.

    A few may try .net.

    Fewer still may try .org.

Then you've got .us, .edu, .uk, etc.

.BIZ? I can virtually guarantee you won't get visitors.
