I have utorrent installed so I can download bittorrent seed files, but how do you go about actually searching for bittorrent files you want to download? Do you use the same software?

www.bi-torrent.com is another good. Suppose its really the type of stuff you want to download.

If you want to download all the UK TV shows www.uknova.com is excellent, although getting an account is pretty tricky.

I like Torrentz.com very much, but that's mostly for video files.

When you run the software on your computer, it has a search function built in the top right corner. At least mine does. Maybe you have a different version.

Are you on a PC? What's in your task manager? Mine seems fine and I only have 768MB of ram.

Lots of stuff in the task manager. Computer specs are 2200Mhz AMD CPU with 1GB DDR RAM, running like a dog with 50-75% CPU usage. I am barely capable of surfing the net whilst downloading a torrent file.. hmmm

I'm no techie, but that seems weird to me. I have no problems when I download stuff. Although the files are usually pretty big so I start the dl at night then go to bed.

I would recommend this as a client

    azureus.sourceforge.net

The only time I have found this to be slow is when my hard drive is low on space.
