I need a program that will take a file, cut it into parts and help distribute it like bittorrent. But be made to run more off the users pc and only ask the server for minor stuff. Big places like Blizzard are using this technology for WOW world of warcraft downloads, and it might even be open source, and have a project page developed but I cant seem to find it. If anyone could point me in the direction I need to go with this or has a background on it, that would be teriffic. please message me with a cost for helping me out, if you have something you have developed that might work with minor changes that would be the best. The overall use of this would be to distribute larger files, or video without needing a massive server to handle the upload. please only respond if you know how bittorrent works all ready.
