Roman Polanski has been all over the news lately with his 13-year old rapage case gettin back at him some 40 years later.

So I started to watch his movies. I didn't really like his recent ones, so I wasn't very determined to find anything interesting. How wrong was I? After I found and watched "Bitter Moon", I was surprised I never even heard of the movie.

This is a movie that has excellent story telling and is a bit wacky, but its so well done in terms of how the images and the music are matched.

The movie is 2 hours and 10 minutes long, but you really get into it.

It's definitely not for everyone, some people might find it "slow" or "boring", or even without any substance. Well, the movie script is based on a book written by a famous modern French philosopher. So, if you pay attention to it, maybe you'll dig it. I know I did.
