Anonamix: Too much users flooding our FTP with files. We upgrade our FTP Servers soon again alot.. Can you please PM me the Files that wont work with Remote?

 

@above - with upgrading your FTP servers, any news on EU based FTPs? or even better .eu based form upload with instant link? even if the link will say transfering for 10mins...

 

jimbo-53: Yes, we have a plan to do it exactly like this. But right now we have first to upgrade our USA ones.

 

-I've only tried to use FileSonic remote upload since that is who I switched from, and it never worked.

-What about the Desktop Tool upload then? I have not once completed an upload using it. I always get "Unable to write data to the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host." error after a few MB.

Other bugs with Desktop Tool:
-Using the context menu 'Upload to Bitshare.com' button will fail if any spaces are in the file name (including folders).
-Sorting 'My Files' by #Downloads does not work at all.

 

Warning to BS users you files will get flagged & deleted way before 190 days. So if you want your files to be stored a good ammount time BS is not the file host to go with. I have used many file host before & I have never had any of my files deleted before 30 days had 40 files uploaded & 27 that were deleted after 2 to 3 1/2 weeks f**k that

Anonamix: Its not our problem that filesonic dont works. Go ask them why they have problems. Or does this work on other Sites?

Desktop upload has some errors, did you upload that failing files before? We already work on a new version.

I found there are a big bug in your system: my files are deleted automatically with in 3 weeks.
What is your error in your system?
OR you do not have enough spaces to keep the files. As a result, you break your promise to keep the files about 90 days ?
OR you do not want to pay more to the uploader?

the reason for detele on your files is by report abuse reported files are deleted at any time.

Indeed My Files deleted too in less than 30 dyas and i am sure 10000000000% that no one have any right for them to ask for delete or any other rights.

indeed i am sure that there is something about the 190 days!!!!

 

Tsarkh: Then somebody has reported your files. We get abuse - we delete after a short review.

It is not true for me.
I carried out a control experiment
All of first, I share file A on internet. At the same time, I upload the same file A and keep it in my folder without any sharing on it.
As a result, Both file A with sharing on internet and without sharing on internet were deleted within 3 weeks.

I would like to ask you a question above situation:
1) Why do both file A were deleted within 3 weeks whether I shared to anyone or not?
2) accounting to your explanation for deletion, somebody has reported my files but one of the file A which is not shared to anyone were deleted within 3 weeks. Please explain it.
3) I tried to upload two same files but they are different names and one of file are shared and the rest of the file is not share to anyone. As a result, both files are deleted. Why?

Accounting to above a control experiment, I can prove my files which were deleted is not a reason why get abuse.

Personally, I think you set some rules for survival period which is about 3 week whether the files are active or not

your case is similar to others since some files are delete within 3 weeks without any getting Abuse.
In fact, I have tested some downloads which do not counted by bitshare. i think bitshare.com may have not stronger financial back up. As a result, they would like to pay less to uploaders . those may be their tactic to reduce the probability to lose of their money

 

Can you make payouts with AlertPay?

now downloads are counted fine maybe is from servers maintence is the problem.
