Where does the site pull the listings from? Do you input listings for RE agents/FSBOs for a fee?

Its pulling from ebay and its own database. You can make money with the ebay affiliate network if your a member.

Member listings display inline with the ebay property. You can see an example of a member listing (pulled from database) if you search flordia, colorado, and a couple others. Its the first listing on the page highlighted in blue. If you click on it you can see a demonstration of the featured property listings.

About half way down the page you'll see another highlighted blue area setup for free listings if desired.

The idea was to give it some content with the ebay listings and when the member base supported it, switch over to only displaying members listing and dropping ebay.

Love the site and the app. Will you fix the problem with the Seller Description? It appears to run in the middle of the listing and is bunching up the button for "Visit Original Listing Page"

Is this a custom coded app, or using a commercial script?

Bluffspot, thanks bud! I changed the layout a bit to accommodate smaller screen sizes. Thanks for your input!

Terrymason, Its a custom coded commercial script. :p The ebay search was wrote by Vidal Dewitt, cool guy and he supports it... Its well written and uses the ebay developer api so its bulletproof. Ebay listings are pulled live, so there's not a gnarly database to maintenance. Its kinda hard to tell where one starts and the other begins..

The rest of the site is custom coded. As stated the ebay feature was added as a early content solution and to encourage paid listings at start up. Site will run without the ebay listings and was intended to do so.

Does this pull listings using Ebay's RSS2 feed, or the older (and soon to be turned off) RSS 1 feed?

It doesnt use rss feeds, uses the developer api.
