Bit confused about a rule on DP.

    Hello guys,

    Sorry if this has been posted before but I couldn't find one relating my question.

    I'm just wondering, I have a digital goods product (CMS) for Blesta the billing system, but when the buyer buys the one-time product they get a license key which allows the product to work. Does that class as a serial / keys? As it is a "license key" which ensures people buy the one-time fee and is allowed to use it.

    If needed I can pm a mod / admin with links about the product in question if that would clear the air? Thank you, I don't want to break any rules so best to ask.

    you are allowed to sell a license to software you own and which allows you to onsell. You would, however, only be able to sell one without questions being asked.
    Are you a reseller http://www.blesta.com/resellers/ and wanting to sell here?

    Problems have arisen in the past where people have sold illegal keys over and over and then we've had the buyers having all sorts of problems. We want to keep this forum and it's trading sections as above board as possible so we've stopped a broad range of activity that we've found to be "problematic".

    I bought the hoodie from their spreadshirt store :). We are a reseller (distributor of their software) however I am looking to sell our own plugin here (only) if I am doing so legally, which expands the Blesta software so you can use it as a blog etc.

    PS: Paul, Cody and Tyson run Blesta.
