Bing is a search engine and its search the graphical but Google is the very big search engine for every web site and other one is yahoo that is search engine and it is search the site but Google is the much better than other engine .
so that it provide the more concrete sense of Bing in advance of the launch

compared with google, bing search result is less than google and there are still a lot of people use google. I don't know what happend for bing+yahoo.maybe called binghoo, or whatever.Hope they can success. I don't like google always on the No.1 search engine place. By the way, I don't use Bing. Ha ha ha.

My take on this is, Bing is just leaving the starting line of the search engine race, where as Google & Yahoo (well maybe not so much Yahoo) are miles ahead. In other words it has a lotta catching up to do.

I will be paying much more attention to bing because of the Yahoo/Bing search alliance. Their algorithm will be powering yahoo search results as well, so you are now talking about 30+% of the search volume online based on that algo. Pretty big bang for your buck if you ask me, and the first time there's a somewhat formidable competitor to google in one place.

Same goes for paid search. Getting the volume of about 30% of internet users in one place is not small potatoes the way that yahoo and bing are individually. It will be some decent volume.

Wrong. The total is around 23% compared to Google's 65%, about 3x more.
Again, wrong. Yahoo and Bing will have different sales teams. Being successful on one is not success in the other.

For the % it depends whos numbers you go by. Google says 80/20, Yahoo/MSN says 70/30

On paid it will not be separate - there will be one interface and you will not be able to distinguish Yahoo/Bing in targeting. That is the whole point of the search alliance.

I don't pay much attention to what their marketing says. I listen to what independent studies say.

I am not impressed by Bing. I submitted my business to their local listing 2 months ago. The message I got was they will send me a verification code by mail. Still haven't got it and I read that others have the same problem. When submitting in google or yahoo you can verify right away. I wonder what going on with Bing.
If anyone have any idea on how to do this please let me know.

I noticed that several months back, there was ample advertising, both on line and on TV for Bing. I do not see the same tour de force that showed its bravado in advertising earlier. This does not show good for the future of Bing, even with a Yahoo alliance. I know that M$ has $, but it seems that they want the whole world to advertise with them, but are being slightly finicky and even downright stingy on there own end in the same department. New internet users can be swayed by advertising, and die hard M$ users might also follow suit, but the die hard Y/G users aseem to be happy right where they are, and have been for several years now. Yahoo users, even with the alliance, are unlikely to start using Bing (unless it is to escape the bloated adware called the Yahoo home page, lol). I think that more than a reallience, Bing needs to continue its persuit of branding better, then it might have a chance.

This has to be the quote of the day. It almost says Bing is better than MSN, but with more aptness. lol

Bing indexes websites more slowly than google. One of my new website was indexed by google in a week after i added sitemap to "webmasters central". And it took more than 3 month to get in bing index.

I just did a search last night on Bing for a few things and was surprised to see that Bing serves search results very well and accurate too, which is surely a good thing!

I'm very unimpressed with Bing. Indexing takes forever and the results are nowhere near as accurate as the big G.
