I think Bing is doing a very good job, but google was able to touch our hearts and minds with the right marketing message!
It is easier to rank higher on bing. No idea about ppc. But after reading those previous replies. I will definitely give it a try
I find it easier to rank up on bing but I think that you get more notoriety from google. But that is just a personal opinion. I would have to do more in depth research to figure it out more.
My 1 keyword is on 1st rank in bing But the visits are just 200 Whereas in google, the same keyword ranks at 6th position and it is having 780 visits. This simply proves that bing still has a long way to go.
for me its both .. google as well as bing But the visits were less of bing as compared to google. despite of the keyword ranking 1st on bing
Google is old and Bing is newbie but i would say that Bing is also improving day by day and if you are targeting Bing traffic than you need to check Bing Webmaster Tool and you will amazed to see that Bing WMT and Google WMT is going neck to neck and Bing WMT is getting better and better.
every person has the right to choose what search engine they choose. My opinion as a publisher, I would feel comfortable using google though many rules algorithm. However, all of these re-directed to the information seeker satisfaction in google. and it never hurts to be prepared to move to other search engines, for example, bing, facebook and yahoo they work together to keep their customers and users.
Prefer what actually works for you, different countries people use different search engine so you should see what your targeted audience prefer. Till today I have never heard that bing is better than Google, you are the first from with whom I heard this.
Microsoft in my mind has an approach towards business that seeks to take advantage of its customers and I personally don't think thats a viable and sustainable approach. This makes me think that Bing may take a share of Google but overall Google has a much better approach that focuses on giving rather than taking. They have a lot of initiatives that are beneficial to more than just themselves and thats a business strategy people will stand behind.
i think Google is best than Bing. Google has "Search Operators" very nice. Ex : Search Website : allinanchor:, allintext:, allintitle:, allinurl:, cache:, define:, filetype:, id:, inanchor:, info:, intext:, intitle:, inurl:, link:, related:, site:
For my own personal businesses I only focus and work with Bing these days. For searching it gives me what I need, rather than the biggest corporations and pages of less useful content. If I want to learn how a microwave oven is made, who invented it, buy one from a corporation, be shown videos on YouTube and generally waste my time wading through pages I'll go to Google. If I just want to buy a microwave from a retailer in the UK I'll go to Bing. As a webmaster, it's much easier to hit position one in Bing for a keyword, while remaining on page three of Google. You're still rising up there as you work on the content, but Bing seemingly does it better than Google and doesn't automatically rank its advertisers and corporations in position one, it actually seems to LOOK at the content on a page and value it more appropriately. Google likes to talk about the importance of on-page content, but it seems the biggest companies are exempt from this rule. It's also important to remember that even though Google is the leader, it makes no difference to you if you're getting fewer clicks from a third page on Google than you are on page one of Bing. Google could have 99% of the search market, but it has no bearing on you as a webmaster if you are buried under thousands of other sites and only getting two clicks a day from it compared to ten from Bing. People need to look at the traffic coming to them from SE's, not the market share a SE has.
Show me where Google gives me gift certificates just for doing searches? After that I'll show you another area where Bing delivers a one-two to Google.
