Bing Traffic Spikes

A couple of my websites rank highly in Bing for their keywords, thats great.

What isn't so great, (or awesome depending on how you look at it) are the unusual traffic spikes these sites experience. From getting 10 - 20 individual hits a day to all of a sudden recieving 1,000, all in a 24 hour period. After which the traffic drops to below previous levels though my ranking hasn't changed on Bing.

Has anyone else seen this happen?

(And Bing really isn't a search engine, its a "decision engine", so should it be in this section?)

    How did you do that?
    Are there any requirements?

Bing traffic has been weird for me also. It will send barely any traffic for a few days then I will get a spike. Then back to none again. I dont understand it. Their results must change frequently.

I have noticed the spike also. But it seems to come in on only one keyword at a time. Funny thing when i see the spike happen, I do a search for the keyword thats popping, I don't see my site anywhere near the top of the search results. Its possible that they have some kind of glitch.

I haven't seen anything - I'll check more into it. I think a year from now, it's going to be more about Bing.
