I'm using Google Analytics to compare Search Engine Traffic across my blog network. I have two sites that generate a lot of traffic in relation to the other blogs which generate moderate amounts of traffic. While not scientific it appears I'm seeing about a ONE HALF OF ONE PERCENT improvement in Traffic Coming from Bing since Microsoft Rolled it out. I don't see this as much of an improvement based on all the Advertising and PR they did. For the most part this is simply not a difference. Obviously when they take over Yahoo Search we'll find out if they will have any impact on Google Search. But for now I'm just not seeing a reason to worry about Bing. Anyone care to comment on any improvements they have seen in their own traffic logs?
It really depends on your audience. Your audience is likely to favor one browser over the other, therefore defaulting to one search engine or another. I notice that some of my sites have nearly all Bing directed traffic, and that some have little to no traffic from it at all, and the cause of this is definitely their personal choice of browser.
i'm using explorer IE , i type keyword searching on toolbar address web..and keyword will open to search engine bing.com
Hey friend , i believe what you said is true . Since i check my sites through google analytics too , and yes bing is bringing likely more traffic to all my sites , be it niche for US or india . I think more people are using bing and are satisfied with its results .
My traffic source is google, social media and little from bing. The bing looks more starter than the previous version of search engine by microsoft.
If you ask me, BING sucks - I have 12 page one SERP's at Google, but only 3 at BING - - go figure LOL!!
Hi My website traffic graph is like Google >Yahoo>Bing But my clients website receieving good traffic from Bing, maybe the cause of it is that they have a product based website and liked by Bing as Bing has more features which helps you in choosing your products. Thanks
On my popular sites (100K+ unique visitors per month) Bing is 15% of my search engine traffic. On my less popular sites, Bing is between 2% and 8% of my search engine traffic.
bing requires a certain time to takeover if it could ever, google and yahoo search engines have a suave performance in every way. There is no way Bing could overtake them. The average users and even newest ones alway prefer google and yahoo search engines. Therefore, the reasons to have increased traffic on any web portal that you have is hugely due to google and yahoo....
I was checking my site's ranking everyday and all I can see was a good rankings in Bing, even when I used SEO tools I can see a good result. Though in Yahoo I can't see my site's rankings but I do have backlinks.. and in Google though it was hard to rank site in this Search Engine I get a good result from it..
I'm not satisfied with Bing results at all. Sure, there is a noticeable uptick in traffic, and yes, Bing traffic is actually paying traffic ... but have you really taken a good look at their index? It's a mess .. full of spam and porn redirects ..
I see more traffic coming from google, bing and yahoo.. I think bing is starting to get more user base..
