Bing seriosuly seems to be a Top notch release from Microsoft. Its really fast, relevant search results makes it good competitor for google. Now im waiting for MS Pubcenter to be released and that would be even more bigger challenge for google.
I think in a few years' time, Bing will be a strong competitor to Google and this is good for us webmasters.
I am happy with the looks and the speed, now I just need some traffic to my site from them and I will be happy.
The thing is, it will take a long time to develop brand loyalty towards Bing. I think part of the reason everyone uses google, is because of the loyalty base towards it. For however many years they have been providing instant, relevant results to their users will no fuss or gimmicks. Alongside that they give us a lot of free resources, such as Chrome, Analytics, Picassa, Code, and many other advanced applications. A search engine cannot appear overnight, and suddenly take the lead. It needs to earn it's spot fairly, which is what Google has done. Google has taken the monopoly, and I firmly believe it will stay there.
Bing is slowly creeping up in my traffic stats. It just last night surpassed live.com to take over as my #6 best source of traffic. It has climbed slowly and steadily this week. I'm watching bing closely.
im not really a fan of microsoft search engines but looking at Bing, im very impressed with the improvements. and its very FAST too.
Bing surely appears good and it is a first step by MS in the right direction. They can further their journey by launching pubcentre worldwide and throw up an open challenge to big G. A segment always becomes healthy and transparent when two competitors are fighting in the same to retain their fair share! Regards, RightMan
Yepp....I agree! I have changed Bing as my new home page and I live the feel and the speed of it! I think Bing is going to do very well!
Yap i agree. I will give two thumbs up for Bing's Design. But for my searches Google still wins my choice. I like how Google gives results to every searches i made.
