It's hard to get traffic from a search engine no one uses. Of course, since no one uses it, why do you care about it?

Bing gets around 10% market share according to comscore. That number will be smaller next month after they subtract fake results Microsoft pulled in the past.

I have a couple of pretty new sites ranking on Bing first page and Google third or fourth page. I get almost no traffic form Bing.
The thing is many of my sites rank better on Bing (I have no idea why) but It doesn't help to drive visitors.

People always weigh their efforts with respect to the expected outcome. For the same effort, Bing will give you very less traffic since the number of its users is inherently less. Hence it is better to concentrate on a good result yielding place like google... instead of diverting your efforts on Bing!

Bing indexes pages very slowly so you cant expect traffic from it. But i know some webmasters who has a lot of traffic from Bing. Even some of them are not working for optimizing their website for Google. But it can be happened for a few number of webmasters.

    bing: 1k visits per day
google : 35k visits per day.

bing is still proportionally offering too small benefit to spend time on it.

They have been advertising bing on tv here in the u.s. lately. Hard to know if that will do a lot of good for them. Maybe they will get a slight bump in usage out of their advertising. At least they are trying I guess.

I am yet to believe Bing, it has promised so much, but is still in its early stages. I don't get much traffic from them.
