This could be useful for finding what other websites are being hosted on a shared IP by your web host. From Google Blogoscoped. http://blogoscoped.com/archive/2009-08-17-n11.html "Microsoft’s search engine Bing has an interesting operator which can tell you different domains hosted on a given IP."
That's pretty interesting, and a good tool for checking if inbound links are on the same server as well. Should speed things up when buying links en masse.
There's many sites that do this. domaintools has a tool that'll do this. Thanks though for finding this.
...but you have to register at Domaintools for that to work. I tried this new trick and it's another tool in the belt! Even though I hate MSFT, it's nice when you can exploit them
I wouldn't bother with that host2ip tool though, by the time you've found they can't find the site you've given them you could've opened a cmd window and run a ping.
This was the case since Microsoft launched their own search engine, before it was named Live.com. So it is at least three years old.
