Funny in a sense. However microsoft does not have the "IT" attached to their new decision engine, Bing. Next we might see an ad saying "Google says "Google potential, your passion" and the guy saying we must talk to microsoft about this new product"!!!

Little by little they have been gaining ground. Sometimes I actually find things quicker on Bing...Believe it or not.

You can say whatever you want, but I think Bing has a lot more search features than Google. They break things into categories for you and give little excerpts. They expect what a user will look for. Google on the other hand has not changed since the year 2000. They have a faster search than they had before, but still those plain old links with no real value that you have to click to see if something useful will show up. With Google search, it's like playing a guessing game.

I'm really amazed by how many people like bing - most of the results I have analyzed on there are for multiple spammy subdomains... in 1 example i found for a serch term they served up 2 pages of the same domain, just with different subdomains... pathetic-

I guess it depends on what you searched for. But Bing has some pretty good results and nice presentation i.e. interface. Google is too plain in my opinion and their results are not categorized. I'm pretty sure Google is going to copy some of the Bing's features soon.

I have now made time to try out Bing with a few general and a technical search at have to say, it looks to be serious competition for Google. One thing I like is the slightly "cleaner" looking results page as well.

Forcing a catch phrase on people doesn't really work, You need to let the users create the phrase for themselves and it shall not be forgotten.
