So what do people think about Microsoft's newest attempt at lipstick on a pig, Bing? Then again, it would be cool to be proven wrong.

I'm anxious to see if MS can give Google a run for it's money. I didn't think that they could do it by just making Live better - they need a 'Big' idea. So I like this approach, although, when I look at the previews, I just say to myself, "universal". It looks exactly like Asks universal search. It will come down to both the results and the appeal of the site. I'm looking forward to it.

It has some nice features, at least its better than MSN -live.com.

What ever gonna be, we -the user- will get the benefits.

    Love competition.......

It's simple, fast, and my site has better rank :)

But, IMHO, G is always the best!

It i good to see another search engine from microsoft, provide another option to the internet user.

Bing on the back end and Hophunt on the front end equals Google Killer.

Too early to say anything.. I would like to wait and see how it pans out to be. If it can compete with Google, i'll be happier. Cos competition always make them bring the best out of themselves.. and we will benefit more than any1 else ;)

It does seem like a decent enough improvement over Live/MSN. Let' see how well they can market it.
