I rarely use Bing but after a tested it out in some ways, Bing almost has all the things that Google has, map,news, videos, image search (mind you google copied Bing in this aspect) and of course the main web search engine. The quality of their search is also increasing, with the partnership of FB and Yahoo, shoudn't Bing is suppose to have a bigger share for the searches done compared to Google? What do you think Bing is lacking compared to Google? Personally I think they just don't have the Adsense program for Bing.
I agree that Bing should have a bigger share in the searches done as it is improving day by day. But the main problem it has is that people are very much hooked on to google. I'm pretty sure that majority of the internet users do not even know what Bing is.
According to my opinion image search in Bing is fine, but they have to improve their search quality yet.
Have you tested Bing's video search? Its much better than Google in terms of fast preview. Really cool
They need to keep things simple and avoid clutter. They should also try and innovate like Google as opposed to follow in their shadow They seem to be doing a good job and last I read was that they had gained market share.
Yup I agree. MSN really did much more than a name-change when they changed the search engine to Bing. Google is actually a bit scared now...notice how they accuse Bing of one thing or the other lately
Bing needs to just have a lot less buttons. If you compare Google vs Big you'll find a LOT of different things.
I use Bing now. But I think that I'm used to using it. At first form my point of view,it's not so great as Google. But now it's more effective.
I think bing is a good search engine but they need to grab marketshares by doing eye catching things and have more tools available for webmasters like most of us are here on DP. Just like sunilmamo says a similiar service like adsense is the way to go but doing it too early is neither a good approach.
You are right. But Google's resources are more prosperous than Bing. To compete with Google, Bing will have to faster than the present speed.
If all Bing is going to do is copy Google, why use Bing if they have nothing different to offer? There are many papers on the 'net that show Google's search is superior to Bing, too, and then there's the debacle where Microsoft admitted it copies Google's results. And, even though Bing now powers Yahoo's search engine, most users don't know that and still use Yahoo over Bing. If Bing can't even surpass Yahoo, they have no hope of catching up to Google.
