For main site organic listings I feel the same way about the "slow indexing" BUT I have found that they are incredibly fast with local indexing through the Local Biz Center at Bing.. even faster than Google for 5 clients I have...

    Agree/Disagree???

I've noticed this too. Even with all the usual techniques such as getting links from blogs etc it still seems to take Bing a long time to index a new site. Google and Yahoo are lightning fast by comparison.

I would be interested to hear if anyone has any techniques that get a new site indexed by Bing quickly.

I've noticed that Bing shows our site in the results changes depending on the day... very strange. Sometimes quick to index, sometimes slow, but never on the same page in the results. At first we were getting good traffic from them but not anymore.

Bing rules, it doesn't ban people who build backlinks fast and work hard on it, but put them on the first page!

Well, what do you expect from microsoft?

Also, bing likes to have individual sites more than individual pages.

what are the keywords you want to rank good? it all depends on your competition. Basically the way it goes is this: lets say you want to tank well for :"blue sky is good for you" . You see who's number 1 for these key words in Google/Bing/Yahoo and how many backlinks they have. Then just do what they did ( i.e. build same amount of back links to your site with anchor "blue sky is good for you") and you'll be there..
