    Yeah you are right, the Chinese gov. could not block Bing all the time. In fact mocrosoft is in good relationship with the Chinese gov., so Bing will never be really blocked:D

    well I guess in a matter of years if China still continues to block popular sites businesses in China will loose dramatically it's exports and imports that really dependent in online business.

    This is extremely bad news, china is one of the best traffic generators in the world, blockage of such sites could equal to huge revenue losses not to mention the losses the Chinese will face when it comes to losing access to valuable content :/

    I've just come back from work in China, Youtube has been down for many months. Facebook has been down recently, and Bing hasn't been accessible since its release. I'm sure Google is also on the brink, as there have been some arguments with the way pornography is available.

    The launch of bing in china is bounded with cn.bing.com and never allow the chinese search things from overseas. That's the reason why chinese not choose bing as search engine.
    I have to say that I prefer Google than Baidu due to the openess of information. Baidu seach engine looks like official stand answer proposed by Chinese government. Anyway, Google is back on track again now in that millions of chinese people were against the blocking sponsored by the government...In fact, I am one of them XD
